I seriously love this age! She can sit really well now and entertain herself and she is so fun and interactive but shes still an adorable baby too! She loves messing with legos, blocks, little people, and pretty much anything else she can get her hands on :) She is still barely mobile so I don't have to worry about accidents or her putting everything she finds on the floor in her mouth yet (thats coming very very soon though I know...)

Claire is a very happy baby and only fusses when she knows I left the room or when she sees me and wants me to hold her. She also gets pretty fussy when she’s tired. Lots of eye rubbing and back arching. I think she still sucks her thumb to fall asleep but never does when she’s awake. She has the 1 tooth but the other bottom one looks close. She had a terrible cough and cold again. Probably sickness number 15 in her little life 😩 ![]()
Erin loves to talk to her and tickle her and is really helpful. She can hold Claire and walk with her for just a little bit and she is always willing to help anyway she can. Claire always has the hugest smile for Erin! ![]()
Kate loves to hug Claire and would all day long if I let her :) If Claire is crying Kate is the first to bring her a toy or try to make her happy. She will run up to me and say “Mom! Claire really needs you!” I just love the sister love and I hope it continues forever! ![]()
Other things I want to remember- Claire has the best big smile and giggle! She loves to pull on my hair with 1 hand and hug my shoulder with the other hand when I’m rocking her before naps and bedtime. ❤️ ![]()
She likes most baby food and loves the little baby puffs! She has been refusing green beans the last while but I think they look pretty gross too :) She can’t feed herself anything yet. The puffs just get stuck to her hands and she can’t get them in her mouth. She likes to chew on the sippy cup and anytime she has accidentally gotten any water out she spits it and is all surprised. Not quite old enough for that yet.

She still sleeps from 8pm-5am (usually) and then nurses and goes back to sleep until 7ish. She takes 3 naps (around 9am, around 1pm, and around 5pm). We try to make sure she gets all those naps but we have many variations of this “schedule” and she usually handles it pretty well. Her naps are usually 45 minutes but once a day is usually 1.5hrs. She rarely rarely rarely falls asleep anywhere except a crib or pack n play. She nurses whenever. I have no clue how many times a day. Usually before and after each nap or in between naps if she didn't eat very well the time before and she gets 3oz of formula after nursing at bedtime. Bottles are around 5oz when I’m working. She likes to drink some of the bottle and then wait a while and finish it later. I read my 9 month posts with the other girls and I knew exactly how many times they ate and how I was cutting out nursing times and all that and wow I do not have it figured out with Claire at all! Definitely went backwards as far as schedules go 😝
She loves her big sisters and especially when they play hide and seek with her. She giggles and giggles! She definitely knows who they are and is always looking around for them when she wakes up for naps. They love her sooo much too!
Claire likes books, mirrors, hugs, chewing on things, and scooting backwards. She gets stuck under the couch, under the Christmas tree and back up against many walls- silly baby! She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks a lot but hasn’t really crawled yet. She can stand by a toy with help but cannot do it by herself yet at all.
