Dog sitting

We got to watch my brothers dog for a week while he was in Mexico on a service trip and the girls LOVED it!

Lots of walks! We had a bit of a rough start to the week though and it started like 3 minutes after this picture :) Kate had to go to the bathroom and Erin had been doing great with Buxton on the leash so I told her to just walk with him around the cul-du-sac while I took Kate and Claire inside. So we get inside and I put Claire in the exersaucer and I looked outside to check on Erin and see I see chaos!!! Erin was running down the sidewalk screaming and crying and Buxton was not in sight.... ahh!! I quick ran outside and ran to Erin. She was super duper upset but thankfully Buxton was just a few houses down in the neighbors backyard. I saw him running between yards so I was glad that we could see him but then he disappeared so we were running all over trying to find him. I tried to calm Erin down and then we saw Buxton run between the neighbors houses and he started coming closer to us. We eventually caught him (it actually didn't take that long but it felt a lot longer since we were so nervous!!) and we realized that I had attached the leash to the wrong area on his collar and it had broken and left his 3 tags all down the sidewalk. We eventually found all the tags and got back inside to a very upset baby Claire. She was not a fan of being left alone- oops! We calmed Claire down and I fed her and put her down for a nap and when i was walking out of her room I heard Erin and Kate yelling "mom!!!!!!! Buxton puked!!!!" And yep he definitely had right on the carpet. Yikes!! Not sure if he ate something in the neighbors backyard or if he was just nervous with all the chaos of 3 little girls at our house or what but thankfully everything calmed down after that and we had a great week!
Buxton loved playing with the girls and Claire loved to watch him too! She was giggling and giggling  during this picture.
